Research Institute of Environmental Protection Technologies and Engineering (RIEPTE) is created at the Department of Ecology, Chemistry and Environmental Protection Technologies in 2022. Main goal of RIEPTE is conducting research in the area of environment protection, development of environmental technologies, etc. RIEPTE has 4 research laboratories:
1. Research Laboratory of Environmental Measurements and Geoinformatian Technologies of Environment Protection
2. Research Laboratory of Ecological Projecting and Recycling Technologies
3. Research Laboratory of Spectrophotometry of Natural Environments
4. Research Laboratory of Technological Processes and Synthesis of Intermediate Products
